Hello Graeme,

I'm a descendant of Robert Byers and Constance Olive Maryanne Byers. My great grandfather is Herbert Arthur Timothy Byers, my grandfather is Ronald Leslie Byers, and my mother Violet Mabel Byers (Cockerill).

I live in Bathurst NSW and there are quite a lot of Byers descendants within the area. (Ronald Leslie and Violet Mabel snr had 14 children between them).

I run a Facebook group covering the Byers Ashton Field families. Please feel free to join if you are a member of Facebook. The link is below. My email address is ozegold@gmail.com. I'm known to family as Doug.

Very nice to meet you by the way :)

Hi Graeme,

I last met your Dad at Nana's funeral back in 2003. It's good to see that you found your way to the Facebook group. There are a lot of cousins and other relatives finding their way there as well, I'm finding that it provides a way for everyone to piece together family history.

Cheers
