Margaret Sampsell - Margaret Snawsell

I was wondering where the Sampsell surname comes into it. Her Wiki page doesn't show her maiden name, but it also has her 26 years older than her husband.

That would be a grammatical error on Sampsell, the writing back that far, and signatures are difficult to distinguish letters. Some researchers believe she was first married to Sawnell, her supposed's husband's surname, some say his given name is William, some say Arthur. Older researchers say he used both names, one at a time, during different times of his life. I haven't looked at age difference, they may not have either.
