The overview for William Loas Rolph states "With wife Sarah and 7 male children and 1 male child born in the harbour". However the shipping record for the Euphrates only shows William, Sarah and the child born in the harbour. Is there other primary evidence that shows that there were 8 Rolph children on the Euphrates?

I would say that the reference to 7 children accompanying William and Sarah is incorrect.

I just checked the passenger list and agree with your reading of only 1 male child born in the harbour.

Since Sarah was only 18 on arrival in Sydney in 1855, she could not already have given birth 7 children of her own.

I will look further later today.
