They cannot be the same/born on same day, same parents unless one John was a polygamist?

I don't believe that John Fox (Fuchs) died in Tennessee. I'm researching this but the wife of this person, Catherine Hinkle's family had wagons that carried supplies for the Continental Army. The Hinkle and the Fox familes owned property in Rowan, N.C. (Currently Davidson Co., N.C.)

Phillip Fuchs/ Fox b.1725 Rhineland, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany. d.1796 Rowan, North Carolina.
Marriage to Amelia Catherine Rosenbaum 1730-1800 m.1749
Immigrated 15, August 1750 on Ship Royal Rotterdam by way of Isle of Wight, in Southern England to Philadelphia, Pa. Hinkle and Fuchs families moved to Rowan Co. N.C. in the early 1780's. Phillip Fox is mentioned in the diary of Rev. Paul Hinkle. Phillip left a will dated 1792 and probated in 1796. Phillip's will specified that his son John Fox and wife Catherine be responsible for his mother Amelia. John sold his parents N.C. property and his mother Amelia had passed away. There is extensive information in a book about the Hinckle, Hinkle Family.

There are two men named John Fox.They are not the same!

Can someone straighten this out? Please!

Someone I think my nephew's wife Amanda Stair posted in error that I am related to John Fox and Catherine Hinkle through my nephew then added her family in error, then to John Fox.
