Praying for Peace in Ukraine and for all people in Ukraine (against the Russian invasion 2014 - 2022) including the Germans from Russia people of Ukraine as our German ancestors who migrated from Germany to Russia under the Catherina the Great (German Empress of Russia) ancestors experienced the same issues occurring now in Ukraine from Russia during the Bolshevik revolution of 1917 - 1923 in which my Great Great Grandfather Ludwig Job (Jopp) perished, but his son and my great grandfather Jacob Job (Jopp) left and made it safely to America in December of 1911 to start life a new life again with the same promises of Catherine the Great with Free transportation to Russia, The right to settle in segregated colonies, Free land and the necessary tax-free loans to establish themselves, Religious freedom and the right to build their own churches (Implied in this was the right to establish their own schools)., Local self-government, Exemption from military or civil service, and the right to leave Russia at any time. Therein my Great Grandfather Jacob Job (Jopp) arrive in American and settled in North Dakota, USA under the 2nd homestead act of 1912 that promised Free land and no tax if you settle and improve upon the land with 5 years, freedom of religion, freedom of self local government, freedom of education, etc. At least America to date has kept its promises as of 4-5 generations later.
