Your report goes to customer service, it takes them 1-2 working days to respond and release the profile.
Thanks to all responders.
The profile in question is Eyal's father.
It is a claimed profile, hence it can be updated only by the person himself - but you cannot simply make yourself deceased.
Reporting a claimed profile as deceased is done by a special action (in the ACTIONS menu). Customers support follow up this action, update the profile and transfer his managed profiles to another user.
Private User We got that. The profile is already reported (by you or someone else), so we're waiting to CS to act upon it. Did you report it? When?
Ron Kedem Geni is indeed owned by My-Heritage, and there are cross-references and match indications between the two sites, but there is NO data synchronization between them (and not even within My-Heritage, which doesn't have the "one tree" idea).

Each site has its own separate data. There are extensive help and wiki articles discussing export and import of trees. The main problem induced by such imports in Geni is massive duplications.
For your other suggestion, duplications are a big NO-NO in Geni, especially when there's a simple other solution.
