John North's baptism date in this record is correctly given as 30 August 1801 in Ripponden, Yorkshire, England. What has been overlooked is that his parents' names are listed as James and Elisabeth NOT Thomas and Lucy.
The correct parents are James North b. 1771 and baptised 29 March 1772 in Ripponden and Elisabeth Wadsworth b. about 1774 in Stainland, Yorkshire. They were married 1 May 1794 at Elland St Mary, Yorkshire.
