Private is no longer on Geni and her profile is now managed by two people. But she maintained she was descended from Sookie (Su-Gi) "Granny Hopper" McDaniel and "Trader" unknown McDaniel My 4th great grandmother Susannah Emerson is disconnected from them and I believe correctly so.
There has been a LOT of discussion under those profiles but I have wondered here on Geni in other discussions if the John McDaniel, Sr. presently connected to Annis Webber is from this same family?

Susannah in my mom's side.
Webber is my dad's.
I get DNA matches that hit both sides, on AncestryDNA meaning close. This would perhaps explain and maybe even help discern parents for Susannah.

Did Annis really marry Phillip Webber my paternal 6th great grandfather and a McDaniel potentially a close blood relative of my maternal 4th great grandmother? I only discovered it here on Geni back in about 2020 and it has been on the back burner but one more reason to LOVE Geni, even for NA lines and missing lines.
