Rhys ap Dafydd's present profile shows him being born ca. 1200, and his daughter here shows birth before her father. The other profile for a supposed sister of virtually the same name, Gwenllian ferch Rhys, includes a Wolcott link which shows:

1215 GRONWY===============Gwenllian(c)

Steven Mitchell Ferry -- can you take a look at this? It looks like Wolcott's dates aren't fitting some of the attached profiles. thanks!

A bit of a train wreck. The two Gwenllian(s) were in fact the same person, with one profile showing her with 3 husbands. Only one of them fit, and the others have been sent packing. Wolcott does show her as married to a c. 1215 Gronwy ap Iorwerth. Where "of Cummwd" was coming from I have no idea. Bartrum does not chart her that way, but he misses here ancestry after Dafydd ap Maredudd Hen in Sandde Hardd 1. Wolcott gives it in Sandde Hardd of Mortyn, as cited in her profile.. I have deleted "of Cummwd" from her profile, and she is a c. 1230.

Now the rub. Bartrum, in Sandde Hardd 3 (https://www.geni.com/documents/view?doc_id=6000000173392989892) gives this fine couple 2 children named Dafydd, one styled Hen, the other just plain ole Dave. At this point I don't know if Wolcott agrees with that, but he has told me that the Sandde charts are a mess, as you can see by viewing them. So, I am leaving the children of the 2 Dafydd(s) where they are, for now, as Wolcott assigns some to Hen, whereas Bartrum gives them to plain Dave.

Thanks Private User for bringing this mess into the light of day.
