After Sir Oliver de Ingham, none his supposed MP ancestor pages are supportable. How they have MP statuses is baffling. Perhaps these alleged ancestor profiles came online from uploaded GEDCOM where from others had did slipshod research.
There is also zero support for Elizabeth la Zouche (of Eudo and a fictive mother), ever marrying Sir Oliver de Ingham.
I read once that some profiles gain MP status to control profiles with so many people attached to them. I find this rationale troubling. Too many of these MP webpages are either not rooted in primary sources, or they show no sources of merit at all.
I live in Connecticut, and I don't live near university libraries holding copyrighted sources. (Sigh!)
If I had money to burn, I've buy all the academically lauded medieval research books published between ca. 2001 and 2022.
Subscription fees are prohibitive for websites that would be helpful. A person subscription to access the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography ain't cheap, and there are a couple of other high subscription fee websites.
