Both Maj. Thomas Lawrence, of Hingham & Elizabeth Lawrence have been subjected to mistaken identities.
We’ve spun off Thomas Lawrence, of Limpsfield and attached children previously attached to the Hingham man, especially Dea. Richard Lawrence, of Newark who married Sarah Lawrence
That leave the children of the Hingham couple as:
- (probably) Nicholas Lawrence, of Charlestown & Dorchester who married Mary Lawrence
- Elizabeth Smead who married William Smead, II & who was killed in the Deerfield Massacre of 1704
- Mary Moseley who married Thomas Moseley
- Sarah Pixley who married William Pixley, Sr., She was not the wife of Joseph Winslow
