On the 1850 US census listed as his wife MALINDA - from Arkansas, Marion Co. --- What is her last name, maybe his second wife..
It is said Malinda was killed by Indian raid, lived in the Red Red County, Texas...I have not found raid int that area, understand there was.
Who was his first wife???
His third wife is Elizabeth "Mahala" Sallee, Hunter, Turner, they married abt 1855 in Parker Co, Texas, they had one son James Harvey Shelton Rozell 1859-1909.
Maybe DNA can show who is related.....
