I think we should try to improve the descriptions of the usage of the Account Settings Name Preferences page. The explanatory material there is very limited and not clear to me, an experienced English speaking member of Geni for many years. Married name needs some additional background material and more instructions. Follow the traditional married name path for English but offer a modern World Wide multicultural path also. And explain it in detail.
The very few examples in the Name Preferences page are barely enough to comprehend what it means to adjust name preferences and what the resulting profile would like in various settings. Give us not just one example but display all the possible variations in clear English.
