Something seems off here. The profile shows her husband as Nathan Britt. But the notes in her profile states:

1) Nathan and Elizabeth along with family left Robeson County, NC aroung 1838 and apparently died in Choctaw Co., Miss.

--- which names Nathan's wife as Elizabeth, not Mary

and

2) Children of Mary Hester and Nathan Britt are: + 53 i. Thomas Squire 4 Britt, born Abt. 1807 in Robeson County, NC; died Abt. 1859 in Robeson County, NC. 54 ii. Alexander Britt, born Abt. 1805 in Robeson County, NC. He married Nancy Prevatte.

--- which lists Nathan's wife as Mary

So, was Nathan married twice to two Hester women named Mary and Elizabeth or are two Nathans and their wives mixed up?

Thanks in advance for any clarification as to why Nathan is listed with wives named Mary Hester and Elizabeth.

Her husband Nathan's profile does show him connected to two wives- Mary and Elizabeth Hester. However, his profile only mentions a wife named Mary:

Biography When Nathaniel Nathan Britt was born in 1752 in Johnston County, North Carolina, his father, Lemuel, was 33 and his mother, Mary, was 23. He married Mary Hester in 1827 in Robeson County, North Carolina. They had nine children during their marriage. He died in Choctaw County, Mississippi.

I had a DNA match on Ancestry contact me about our Hester connection and she wrote me that Mary Hester married Henry Davis. In checking, I see on Ancestry that trees have Mary married to both Henry Davis and Jacob Britt, but not to Nathan Britt. So it seems there is no agreement about the Britt - Hester connections. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
