George Andrew Peterson (a cousin of mine on my Finnish side) emailed me the following:
You appear to be very experienced in digging up Family Tree info
Would you help with finding something on my tree?
My Grandmother's side is lost. Her Father Paul Earnest Orris is as far back as I can find on this branch . Family rumor is the name is changed from his father who no one can give me his name!
Thanks if you can and no worries if you can't.
Merry Christmas Cousin!!
George
I am not really so gifted as he describes, but like to work with friends on Geni so I am through this out there. So far, here is what I have found:

From Family Search
"Connecticut, Deaths, 1640-1955", database, FamilySearch (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:F7KN-ZJC : 11 June 2020), Orris in entry for Rose Orris, 1921.
https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/214624305/rose-orris
There are two more by the name of Orris in the St. Mary's Cemetery - Michael and Susie who appear to be a married couple. Michael could be a relative, though not likely a son due to age. More research is needed.
I think we need to hunt for immigration records for "Rose and Steven Orris," likely Rose and Istevan Orosz..
Or perhaps since I did find a grave site for Rose in Connecticut, she was the one who came over. I am not sure if Paul was really born in Connecticut or perhaps Hungary. It appears that they were Hungarian-Catholic based on burial sites. I don't know if church records may show something. I am heading back into immigration records.
Is there a curator or user who may have some ideas for where to go next? From the Geni curators list, I am tagging the following as some who list Hungary as an area of expertise:
FARKAS Mihály László
Robert Hanscom
Any help from users or curators will be much appreciated. Thanks, Susanne
