Some accounts on the internet state that Barbara Yoder, the 2nd wife of Joseph P. Forney (1782 - 1802) was the mother of some of Forney's children. This is not true. The dates of the birth of all of Forney's children predate his marriage to Barbara Yoder, their stepmother.
