She came over from Budapest in 1956. She stayed with us. Her son Nicholas Miklos Winter, grandson Randal Gabor Winter, and Granddaughters; Nicki Gay Winter and Jill Monique Winter. When she arrived, she brought gifts for my sisters and me. She was a sweet lady. She and my dad argued in Hungarian.
She liked Hershey's semi-sweet chocolates. She was 5'1". or thereabouts.
My dad Nicholas told me that she brought in from Budapest Diamonds in her coat buttons. She later married Albert Burman and lived in Los Angeles next to Fairfax. We went to the Hungarian Restaurant called Paprika with her often.
She told my sisters and I stories about my dad when he was in Budapest.
