How to remove my half brother from my mother's profile? We have the same father

Did you try Edit on his profile, then click relation Tab, then click choices for his parent?
If that does not get the choice, add another parent for him, even if just unknown, then it should work.

In future, if creating from "Add Family" in profile view -- do as child of the parent they are child of. and it will ask if child of same spouse or new spouse.

If add and Sibling, it taken as full sibling

When I edit his profile, and go to the Relationships tab, his (incorrectly listed) parents are on the same line. If I try to change them, it only gives me various options including our/my grandparents, or my mother and stepfather, but no option to enter any other names.

If I try to remove his parents (as there is no option to only remove one parent), I get a warning that "Removing these connections will split the tree". However, I still tried to do it, by selecting to remove, and saving the profile, but it didn't actually remove the parents.

I would like to see my (half) brother listed in our family tree, and have his permission for it, but I don't seem to be able to enter the correct mother for him - I would prefer to enter her as "unknown" as she is alive, and I don't know if she would want her name listed, or not.

Would this have anything to do with me accessing the site on a phone browser? (In which case, I could try on my laptop, later.)

I have taken a few screenshots, but the forum doesn't seem to have the option of attaching pictures - at least in the phone browser view.

What happens when you go to your brothers profile, then in profile view, click on Add Family, and try to Add a Parent?

If this keeps freezing on your phone, then try it on your laptop.
(For a while there, Add Family was working fine on my Tablet. Now it is back to being problematic - do not know if Geni changed something, or if it was because I finally did the update chrome I had been being told to do for a very long time.)
