I'd be interested to find parents to a soldier born in Wästerbotten area (huge!) In April 1714 (maybe 02.04.1714). His hame is Olof Jönsson Lindblad, but the surname surely is a soldier name. Because of The naming system I suspect his mother's name could be Catherine, Katrin.

This young man was only 20 years old when he was movie to Österbotten to Österbottens regiment and started a family here.

I would be very grateful for any help, because I'm hot able to read old German handwriting. It would be wonderful to solve this mystery. We, meanig me and a big family) already know he was Swedish due to the male haplogroup
I-BY102153.

Not many matches, only two, one from Sweden and the other is from Finland, actually from Sweden, too!😆
We also know a forefather from late 1500's in Sweden, Gulle Tomasson, from Västerbotten.

Thank to you alla very much for helpin advace.

Love and peace and a lovely summertime wishes from Marja

Olof Jönsson Lindblad

Dna-tests point that this soldier Olof's forfather was Gulle Tomasson from Vänfors, Västerbotten. There are few Olof's in this line, but this far not one pointing to Olof Jönsson father. Still, he might have come from Vänfors, Västerbotten.
Gulle Tomasson
