Lisa Kay Taylor Joslin, 52 of Magnolia, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at MD Anderson Medical Center in Houston, Texas.
She was born on August 25, 1962 in Magnolia. She was a secretary for Magnolia Public Schools where she worked at the High School and formerly at the Junior High School. She was an active member of First Baptist Church in Magnolia where she taught a Sunday School Class, was the beginning choir director and was a member of the Sanctuary Choir. Lisa loved to spend time with her family camping, fishing and traveling.
She is preceded in death by her father, John Lee Taylor, Jr.; a brother Michael Wayne Taylor; and a sister Margaret Taylor Hewitt.
Lisa is survived by her husband of 33 years, David Joslin; her 3 children, Haley and Keith Smith, Zac Joslin and fiancé Summer Clark, Heath Joslin; her mother Carolyn Florence Taylor all of Magnolia; a sister Barbara and Mitchell Rodgers of Shongaloo, Louisiana; her father in law and mother in law, Bobby and Shirley Joslin of Haynesville, Louisiana; sister in law Terri and Mike Lindsey of Camden, Arkansas; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 10:00 am at First Baptist Church in Magnolia with Bro. Brent Summerhill and Bro. David Watkins officiating. Burial will follow at Barlow Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia. Visitation with the family will be Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home
