Revision Tab reference to "Author" causing Anger/Distress

When two profiles are merged, the info in the About Me in the nonPrimary Profile is copied into the merged Profile, below the entry in the Primary Profile.

The Action is shown as being done by Geni or "The Geni Team" and in one form of the display one sees from the Revision Tab, the person making each revision is labelled as "Author"

I have heard from one Geni User who is very angry and upset at seeing the Author of their work -- that is, info and links they entered in the About - being listed as "The Geni Team"

Is there a better word-choice Geni could use?
And/or is anyone able to explain why that labelling should not be seen as (and is not) assigning authorship of their work to "The Geni Team"?
[I have tried and failed - they still think "The Geni Team" is stealing authorship of their work]

Here is another Geni user for whom the issue is apparently not the word author necessarily, but is upset at apparently losing credit for having entered info, and is totally unaware "The Geni Team" refers to actions by Geni's programming:

"Another technical issue-- I added info/sources/links to the About and later found a duplicate and merged ....
Why has the provenance disappeared? I always "assume" curator when I see Geni Team"
and explains in the post immediately following it,
"Meaning you can no longer see that is is I who added the info onto the About."

[Wonder - was her post there inspired by my first post above, or independent of it?]
