There is nothing but the Christian name known about father of Willem Jacobszen van Boerum. No data has been located for Jacob. We do not know birth and marriage or where he was from He could be Jacob Jansen van Gelderland for all we know. He was only "Jacob" everything else is assumed with no documentation, The village Burum (in Nederlandse) is called Boerum (in Fryske) begns records n 1688 the archives of Leeuwarden etc. have no connecting data /records for any "Jacob" father of Willem Jacobs.
