Hi.
My name is Justin Parris. Innes was my 3rd great-grandfather.
We have done many years of research on him and have a good timeline for him in NZ.
His first Offical document found here is his marriage to Jane on 16 July 1861
We recently found his naturalization papers.
He mentions a ship " James Murray "
in contacting the New Bedford Whaling Museum they have suggested the "James Maury"
The only voyage I can find that fits arrival is February 27, 1857 .
I have not officially connected him to this ship yet.
