According to the curator note that he married Eleanor Sandford & Frances Hurt.
He was disconnected as husband and father of Ann Grayson and she was left without a father to her children but the note remained so I added another William Grayson.

I am removing the info on William Grayson son of John and husband of Ann and adding it to the new William and will add the missing children there:

"WILLIAM3 GRAYSON (JOHN2, JOHN1) was born 1732, and died June 1829 in Albemarle Co., VA.
He married ANN SMITH, daughter of THOMAS SMITH.

Notes for WILLIAM GRAYSON: William Grayson moved from Spotsylvania Co. to Albamarle Co., VA before the Revolution.
He was granted 134 acres in Albamarle Co. by the state of Virginia 20 August 1760, and named his plantation Grayson's Tanyard.
William Grayson served as captain in the Virgina Militia during the American Revolution.
He is also listed in the DAR Patriot Index, pg. 282.
He was listed in the British Merchants claims 1775-1802, page 5 as "William Grayson, living Albemarle, and always willing to pay his debts".
He signed a petition for revision of paper money 3 November 1787.

PROBLEM:
https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Grayson-120 is his counterpart at Wikitree and he is only attached to Ann Smith and their children but Ambrose and Alice as parents.

There IS a note in the comment section there regarding Madison county VIRGINIA vs Madison county ALABAMA.

Spotsylvania makes me think of Germanna Colony---- Germanna website has in their database a William Grayson with known child, Elizabeth who married Moses Cook.
