@ Green Woods
I am attempting to document the children of Green Wood(s) and Piercy Raynor/Rainer.

(Fourth Census of the United States, 1820; Census Place: Westbrooks, Sampson, North Carolina; Page: 288; NARA Roll: M33_85; Image: 219)

Based on the two census records we can deduce that there were five children, four males and one female, born to Green Wood and Piercy between 1810 and August 1820.

There seems to be consistency with the following being listed as his children by online various genealogies;

Pearla Green Piercy Wood B: 1822
Furnifold Furny F Wood B: 1818
William Rufus Wood B: 1822
Absabeth Suwannee Wood B: 1817
James Clinton Wood B: 1811
Green Washington "wash" Wood B: 1812
William David Wood B: 1815

This list of children does not conflict with the census records, five children accounted for in the 1820 document and two children born outside the census and before his death in 1822.

Absent a will, we are left to looking for other clues linking these individuals to Green Wood and Piercy Raynor. The names of some of the children certainly point to the probability of this parenthood. Subsequent census documents for these individuals show an interrelation between some of them based on proximity and relocation, etc. Also the names Green, and Piercy are passed down to their children.

My question is what evidence would be sufficient for the profile managers to acceptithe lineage of these people through to Green Wood and Piecry Raynor?
