Peyton Herring - The Wives of Peyton Herring

@Erica Howton! Peyton Herring's profile is messed up, which impacts his son, Daniel Washington Herring, since it lists himself as his father, which sets up date conflict. I've tried to go in and fix these things on my own. And at one point today, I stumbled upon an option to fix duplicates. My only problem is, I merged the two Mary Evans together, but left the correct Mary Polly Evans as Peyton's wife. Why is this system so very complicated? I should be able to when editing, to remove the incorrect wife and add the correct second wife to this man. And to fix the name of Daniel's father, which was Peyton Herring. I'm losing valuable time today running in circles with this. Please, please help. I'll be happy to add source records.
