My grandmother on mother's side was a 'Lentz' and both her mother and father had last name of Lentz. Mother told me that Lentz was JEWISH but a Jewish friend said LENTZ was not Jewish. My mother did lots of 'Koshure' type cooking SO I think there was Jewish hertiage from LENTZ.
