Henrik Nilsen Gyldenløve is your fifth cousin 12 times removed.

@ Henrik Nilson was the illegitimate son of riksråd/rikshovmester (Privy Councillor/General Govrernor) Nils Henriksson, but Inger Ottesdatter Rømer was not his mother. Because he was illegitimate he was not concidered a nobility, and thus not entiteled to the name of Gyldenløve (Gyldenløve = Goldenlion).
Even though many of today refer to him as Gyldenløve, he is not referred to by this name by contemporary sources, neither did he use the name himself. His mother is unknown. Because he was illegitimate he received papal dispensation to work as a canon at Nidaros Cathedral, and eventually also became vicar of Inderøy. Henrik's daughter, who was also illegitimate and whose name is unknown to posterity, married her father's successor as canon and parish priest.

Geneological records shows that I am also a decendent of her; Henrik Nilson's illigitimate daughter - and I have traced his (and mine) ancestors back to Gaut of Ornes farn in Luster (where the oldest most famous Urnes stave church is located). Gaut was born. ca. 1130, and is said to have come from an old family of "lendmen" (like Barons), and Gaut of Ornes was himself a lendman during the reign of King Magnus Erlingsson in the 1160s.
