with History. The Harvey family are related to Chief Justice of the Common Pleas William Bloomberg Heyward/Howard, son of William Bloomberg of France. Note: Total Strangers who have reviewed Footsteps In Time and have interviewed me are stunned at how much French is within my Howard lineage, some of these strangers were tourist from France.
Ancient Historian Paris, stated that William Heyward/Howard {41 other last name spellings-including Jewish Horowitz--all researched by me!) was "living in the Isles of Goshen, Parish of Terrington {Torrington}, nation of Brittany in 932/952 AD--since revised to conform with being allowed to come over with William the Conqueror to 1132/52 AD. At same time there were two William Howard's or Chief Justice Howard and 2nd William who was Banished by William the Conqueor and his descendants did not come over or appear in England until 500 years later.
What I failed to mention in previous note is very important: Twenty-Two Genertions plus or minus three generations of direct descendnacy appears my father ROSS VERNON HOWARD as marrying my Mother EDITH MARGARET KEIMIG on 31 May 1935 in TORRINGTON, GOSHEN COUNTY, WY NATION OF USA and all five of their children are recorded as born in TORRINGTON, GOSHEN COUNTY, WY, NATION OF USA.
From first day of Paul Harvey's Rest of the Story, I remain committed in advancing the Bloomberg lineage further in France, so far, all I know is what I have revealed here. Note Chief Justice Howard's father and six older brother's first names were WILLIAM or EIGHT WILLIAMS-quite normal practice for this time period.
Chief Justice Howard might be first to take a different last name. Other being US President William Taft Howard whose dispute with his father caused him to take his mother's name of Taft or President William Howard Taft.
