Hi all. I'm a descendant of Jean's and wonder if any of you have discovered when she arrived in NZ. Her sons James and John arrived with their families in 1842 on the Duchess of Argyle. Jean's husband James died in Scotland in 1850, so I don't know whether Jean left her husband in Scotland and travelled with her sons, or if she came to NZ after her husband died. Any help would be appreciated.
