Please be sure you are following the set format for naming projects...this allows easy searches by including the same info in each project name.

Thank you.

Mike Stangel I wasn't aware you could change the names of projects!! Here is a list, please take your time!!!!

These are basically all the same, we need to add USA or CSA to the name, due to a change in format after these were created (as well as some obvious errors by the creator of the project (mainly me!)).

Opened a can of worms. :(

Mike

You need to give us the ability to edit our project names ... or suffer the consequences .... :)

LOL....like I said, take your time!

All of those projects have no discussions and little profiles. It would take you just as much work to recreate the projects as it would for him to go into the database and rename them.

6/20/2011 at 12:00 PM

I've renamed the projects.

6/20/2011 at 3:22 PM

Victar....it is not just the discussion or profiles...it is the massive amount of related projects.

What is your interest in the Civil War? Are you willing to take on a project?

6/20/2011 at 3:22 PM

Thank you Mike!!!! I truly appreciate it!

6/20/2011 at 3:23 PM

Additionally Victar, the users following the projects would all need to re-follow if the project was deleted.

You can manually, re-add people to a project. I've recreated so many projects in order to rename them I have it down to a science ;-).

Not too much interest on my part with the Civil War. My wife's family though has quite a few connections. 22th New Jersey Volunteer Infantry Regiment..

My apologies Mike...apparently I didn't need to use your access and instead just wasted your time.
