Originally, there were two sections in this cemetery: a Welsh section and an English section...A line of shrubbery used to separate these two sections, but no shrubs survive at this date. The cemetery, founded around 1840, is located on the corner of Freedom Road & Osmun Road, Freedom, Cattaraugus County, New York. It's also known as English Cemetery, Freedom Rural Cemetery and Welsh Cemetery.
