IT’S taken 66 years and a lot of internet searching, but Judyanne Bowling has been reunited with her family.
Ms Bowling, 70, left South Australia as a four-year-old when her mother died.
“I was taken away by my father and he remarried. The family have been gorgeous to me,” Ms Bowling said.
However, she had always had a sense of something missing.
Daughter Bettina and Ms Bowling’s half-sister Colleen McDonald were quietly working on a reunion.
In SA, her cousin Gill Mercer was also searching for the family. Bettina said that it was a website called geni.com that had brought them together.
