Menachem Mendel Feingold - Obituary

Mr. Mendel Feingold died in Manchester [England] last week at the age of

seventy. He Was one Of the founders and for rnany years President of

the Austrian {Synagogue in Waterloo Road,; He is survived by a widow
seven sons, and four daughters.

RABBI ISAAC GOLDITCH (Rabbi of the Austrian Synagogue) writes:

Mr. Feingold was a Chassid and his whole life Was inspired by his love

of Torah. For over forty years he was a leading figure in the

Austrian Synagogue and on his last Sabbath, in spite of his poor health, he

conducted part of the service. His hospitality was unbounded.
