Wealthean Richards (Loring), Accused Witch - title of "wealthan richards"

Why is her title "accused witch"? That seems a very unimportant part of her story. Why not say "accomplished businesswoman"? She wasn't even tried as a witch. She got in a fight with her husband's business partner and he accused her of being a witch. Authorities refused to prosecute her because they thought it was obvious she was not. It seems to me that someone is just trying to create sensation.

My daughter visited Salem for a week after finding we had "witches" in the family. Back then, anyone who did anything out of the ordinary was suspect. Wouldn't our modern-day herbalists have had a time so many years ago? Apparently, Welthian was a spirited woman who made one too many statements out loud and thankfully she had Thomas Thatcher to stand up for her so the charges were dropped.
