Son of John Bryant and Sarah (Murray) Bryant
Dna studies show John Bryant II to be the son of William Bryant . [https://sites.google.com/site/bryantsofrockislandcreek/john-bryant-...]
I think it’s a mixup of John Bryant’s. https://sites.google.com/site/bryantsofrockislandcreek/john-bryant-... Has John ll as son of John l, DNA proven.
Unfortunately, the Buckingham courthouse burned in 1869, destroying all deeds, wills, and other records stored in the clerk’s office. We have used DNA in combination with traditional genealogy to render this approximation of the family:
Its quite possible that John Sr. had more than one wife. There could be additional sons that moved away from Buckingham County or died in the Revolutionary War, and there were almost certainly more daughters.
