Merging Conflict

Not sure the original source the 12/12/1678 date was drawn from (not the link below but from another merge, I believe), but a secondary source I located confirms the date:

No, neither one appears to be a 100% verifiable source. So I think you're right -- we'll have to consider them as both possibilities, unless we can find a primary source.

Looks like we both have some close ties to the Society of Friends. My direct ancestors (Shotwell line) we are very prominent members of the Rahway, NJ (formerly Shotwell's Landing) Society of Friends.
