About Abraham Gins Schlesinger
A descendant of
- Moshe Gins (1705 -1780)
- Mishnas R. Akiva Eiger (1722 -1758),
- R. Avram ben Saul Broda,(1640 -1717 ),
- R.Ephraim Zalman Margulios (1762 -1828 )
The Shlesinger addition to the Gins family might be a legacy of "Mordechai Schlesinger - 1683" ie. Samuel Gins's grandfather and Moshe Gins'z Great Grandfather*.
"Apprentice in Budapest: memories of a world that is no more" by Raphael Patai it seems that only one brother, Shimcha Bunim, added the Schlezinger, and not Moshe's other sons.
"......Akiva Eger the Younger. His younger brother Simha Bunim (1770-1819) was known both both surnames, Eger and Guns, as well as by a third one, Schlesinger. The sons of Akiva Eger the Younger returned to the family name of their paternal grandfather and were known as Ginz or Genz. …"

- (See the Guens Eger chart among Yankev Yosef Ginz's photos.)
The added Schlezinger might also be to distinguish the Eisenstadt Gins Guenz family from the Prague Gans, Ginsmann Eger family, again see chart for Meir Ginsmann ancestor of the Eger family*.
eg. Meir Ginsmann's ancestors were-:
Simcha Bunim Ganz 1655 Prague
Eliah Ganz b.1570 - d.1608 Prague
Meir Ganz 1598 Prague
Menachem Ganz 1577 Prague
