Laura Corwin died of tuberculosis, as had her mother in 1901. The newspaper announcement of funeral services is attached to this event. Note it mentions she died at the home of her aunt Mrs John Davis - she had been removed from the Corwin home when it was thought her siblings might catch the infection. Per the memory of Laura's little sister Alice Corwin, the aunt was known as "Aunt Nelly". Aunt Nelly's husband John L Davis was the brother of Arthur's wife Rosina (Davis). John Davis died in 1907.
