Severson, Alma J. MOUNT HOREB - Alma J. Severson, age 93, died on Wednesday, February 29, 1984, at Ingleside Nursing Home in Mount Horeb. She was born on January 29, 1891, in Primrose Township, the daughter of Jacob and Maren (Anderson) Jenson. She was married in 1924 to William Severson, and they farmed in York Townsihp until 1952 when she moved to Madison. In 1966 she moved to Mount HOreb and lived there until her death. She was a member of Primrose Lutheran CHurch, and a former member and organist of YOrk Lutheran CHurch, rural Blanchardville. Throughout her life, she was always active in church activities. Survifors include one sister-in-law, Marie Jenson of Mount Horeb; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, WIlliam in 1952; and her brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, 1984, at the PRIMROSE LUTHERAN CHURCH, with Pastor Ronald Nybroten officiating .Friends may call form 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 2, at the ELLESTAD FUNERAL HOME, 500 North STreet, Mount Horeb. Interment will be in Primrose West Cemetery.
