Mrs. Annie Idella (Dickson) Simpson

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Idella Simpson 33, were held from the chapel of the Owens & Brumley Funeral home of Burkburnett at 4 o'clock Monday afternoon. The Rev. Jawell Cunningham, Wichita Falls Baptist pastor officiated. Burial was in Riverside. Mrs. Simpson died Sunday in a local hospital.

Survivors are her mother, Mrs. T.W. Dickson of Wichita Falls; four sons, Eugene, Charles, Billy Joe and Bobby Simpson; three brothers, Tom Harrell of Iola, Texas; Lester of Amarillo, W.M. Dickson of Enid Oklahoma and four sisters, Mrs. Etta Peeks, of Corpus Christi, Mrs. Ora Black of Oakland, California; Mrs. A.F. Bailey and Mrs. T.R. Umbarger of Wichita Falls.

Annie died of Peritonitis
Peritonitis is an inflammation of the membrane which lines the inside of the abdomen and all of the internal organs. This membrane is called the peritoneum. Annie was in Wichita General Hospital form March 3-11, 1934.
