Arseni Semjonovitš Tsarevski (1. märts 1853 Nižni-Olhovaja, Venemaa – 7. aprill 1917 Tartu) oli usuteadlane. Ta oli vaimuliku poeg, õppis Kiievis ning töötas Tartu Ülikoolis õigeusu teoloogia professorina aastatel 1892–1917.

(English) Arseni Semjonovich Tsarevski (March 1, 1853 Nizhny-Olhov, Russia - April 7, 1917 Tartu) was a theologian. He was the son of a clergyman, studied in Kiev and worked as a theology professor at Tartu University 1892-1917.

He was a deacon, priest, archpriest, theologian. He was born March 1, 1853 in the Don bishopric in the family of deacon Semjon Tsarevski."

(This is from a translation from Russian of information provided by Tartu University): He was educated in the Ust-Medveditski Ecclesiastical School, and in the Voronezhki and Don seminaries. He graduated from Kiev Theological Seminary Sept. 23, 1878 with a master's degree in theology and was named superintendent of the Cherkask Ecclesciastical School.

In 1884 he was chosen as lecturer from the pulpit of St. Pisani(sp?), named rector of academics for Mikhail, Bishop of Kursk and Belgorod.He became secretary of the committee to organize construction of the Kiev ecclesiastical academy.n 1891 he was chosen as priest to the Kiev-Sofia Cathedral.

In September 1892 he was named professor of Orthodox theology at Tartu University. In 1894 the heads of the Rizhki Eparchy named him a head of the eparchal district in Tartu. He wasa member of the ecclesiastcal Russian public library in Tartu.

From 1899 he was chairman of the A.S. Pushkin women's gymnasium (high school) for 3 years.

In 1900 he was chosen as a life member of the Imperial Orthodox Palestinian Society for his learned research in the field of Palestinian affairs (the governing of Palestine) and agreed to be a representative of this organization.
