Death Came to C. B. Van Voorhis at East Liberty.
He Was Sitting in His Chair When He Succumbed to Heart Disease.
Special to the Examiner. East Liberty, Feb. 15. - C. B. Van Voorhis, retired, died in his chair at his home here at about 9 last night. Death came very suddenly and unexpectedly from heart trouble. Mr. Van voorhis was down street as usual yesterday and did not complain or show any sign of ill health. A wife and two sons, Prof. O. E. Van Voorhis and Burt Van voorhis, all of this place, survive. Deceased was 67 years and 9 months old. He was a soldier in the 14th Ohio Battery and a man of high standing wherever known. The funeral will be held at the home Thursday at 2 standard time, Rev. A. Skidmore conducting it. Interment in the East Liberty cemetery.
