Sailed from Liverpool, England on 6 November 1841 with step-father Joshua, mother Sarah, step-brother John William aged 12, step-brother Thomas aged 11, brother John Woodhouse aged 9, step-sister Eliza aged 7 & half-sister Deborah aged 10 months. Arrived in Nelson, New Zealand on 7 April 1842 on board the "Martha Ridgway" (ship 621 tons). The Captain was Henry W Webb and the Surgeon Superintendent was John Henry Cooper.
