NG Kerk, Vrede, Orange Free State - Marriage Register Entry : 340 of 21 February 1928 - At the time of her marriage, Christina was aged 25 years and a spinster from ' Kroonfontein ' Vrede District. Her husband, Hendrik Greef was aged 31 years, a bachelor who worked for the SA Police Service at Mullers Pass, Newcastle, Natal. They were married after banns and with Christina's mother's consent at the NG Kerk, Vrede on 21 February 1928 by Presiding Minister, Ds H.J. Reneke in the presence of the following witnesses :
