Claricia Brent

Claricia was born about 1285, of Bawdrip, Somerset, daughter of Adam and Christine de la Ford, (in the parish of Bawdrip),

Somerset. Bawdrip is about 2km south-west of Cossington.

Robert Brent III (abt. 1280 - abt. 1358) - His first wife was Claricia, daughter of Sir Adam de la Ford of Ford in the parish of Bawdrip. He was a knight and a great benefactor of the abbey of Glastonbury

1. Robert de Brent, born c.1310, Cossington, Somerset. Eldest son & heir, succeeding his father at Cossington. Also inherited the manor of Ford, Somerset. Died 1357. Married Elizabeth Denebaud or Denibaud, 1339, Cossington, Somerset. Elizabeth born 1323, Hinton, St. George, Somerset. Children: John (1340), Robert (1342), of Cossington, Somerset.
2. John de Brent, born c.1312, Cossington, Somerset.
3. Hawise or Havinia de Brent, born 1313/1314, Cossington, Somerset. Married Hugh de Popham, 1335, Cossington, Somerset. Child: John of Huntworth, Somerset.
4. Joan de Brent, (our line) born c.1316 in Cossington, Somerset. Married Thomas Denebaud, 1337, Somerset. Thomas was born 1312, Hinton, St George, Somerset and brother of Elizabeth above.[6] Children: John, Robert and William, of Hinton, St George, Somerset
