About Dawasi Perumal Nadar @ Paramanandam, Kaliancaudu
Dawasi Perumal Nadar alias Paramanandam was the eldest son of Peria Perumal Thiruparppu Nadar and Meenakshi. He was born in kaliancaudu village. He married Santhai alias Arulai from Tamaraikulam village. He and his family were early converts to Protestant Christian faith. They owned most of the land on the western part of the present Nagercoil Christion quarters and paddy fields in Perumal Kulaparappu. Paramanandam had a second wife whose name and origin have yet to be traced. He had two sons by his first wife and a daughter by his second wife. The daughter was married by some one from Ethamozhi. The decendants of the fourth generation of this tribe are:
