About Della Greenberg
Betsy Day says, "They lived in Brooklyn, right across from Ebbet's Field. I remember Peter and me going to the roof of her building, where we could (faulty memory?) see over the top of the stadium. Although Dora could sew (they all made their own clothes, back then), Della was a star. I still have a baby's afghan she made, though I think it was made for Mimi, not for me. I have a picture of my bed in SF with another, big afghan she knitted. It fell apart a few years ago, and was irreparable."
