About Dolly Clark (Edwardes)

My grandmother, Dorothy Ellen Clark (nee Edwardes) had three siblings, Arthur Edwardes, Florence Edwardes (married surname Teitge) and Victoria Edwardes (married surname Theron). I knew these ladies very well, and met Arthur only once or twice before he died when I was very young. I had never heard of a Leslie Edwardes from anyone of the three Edwardes sisters, but discovered he was born in India but died within a year of his birth.I have also discovered that my great-grandfather had a number of brothers and sisters, but I have not pursued those lines yet. A "Nora Edwards" was still around in the 1970s, and she could have been my great grandfather's niece. She was the one who told my cousin, Genny Schild, that the "Edwardes" name was an embellishment of the real surname, "Edwards".
