Marrried 11 26 1760 to Dorothea Catarina Eckleff, born 1738, baptized in Molde 7 / 6 of that year, daughter of the commander of Vard Øyhus Conrad Henrich Eckleff (1709 - 22/2-1780) and Lovise von Zepelin (- 24/7- 1764). - Conrad Henrich was later made Major (27/7-1756), later Lieutenant Colonel (4/4-1773) and Colonel (20/1-1779). Lovise was the daughter of etatsråd, hunter champion Joachim Christoffer von Zepelin and 3 wife Ida von Rehder. They were married in Copenhagen 29 / 8 1738 in Christiansborg Christiansborg slottskirke.

- Eckleff, Charles Frederick von, founder of Tankebyggarorden, b. 26 June 1723 in Stockholm, d. darstädes June 30, 1786 as a secretary in the Foreign office, was a zealous collector, but without insight, and great words craze. From 1760-the beginning, he was head of the Masonic in Sweden, and he passed within it the Swedish large landtlogen. In the withering words Society Thought Builders (see do), which became of real importance for Swedish literature, was E. permanent secretary, but his own poetic attempts were very poor.
